NYFW S/S 2014 Coverage: BCBG Max Azria

A week ago marked the first day of New York Fashion Week. I was all like, “Go fashuuun!” But, now it is coming to an end, on to London! I let them happen, let them marinate in my little brain head, and dissect which are my faves. BCBG Max Azria has always been an all time fave.

Although the pieces inspired by the men’s tailored shirt were classic and structured, my favorite pieces were those conveying a more feminine and tailored feel. I must admit, I will always be one for a flowing maxi, even if my body frame is not!

Kelly Wearstler’s Genius Hits Cameron Diaz’s Manhattan Apartment

I’ve had all eyes on Kelly Wearstler’s every move since my youthful days as a young Interior Design student lady person.

When the Elle Decor October issue’s cover graced my eyes, I immediately knew it was a design of the genius herself. From the light, color, and texture used, it was all her. The living room and kitchen are my favorite designs of this space. The living room is light and refreshing. The kitchen is quite the contrast evoking a darker and subdued feel in stark emerald.

Leathah, Ox Blood, and Animal Prints Please!

ImageImageThe mixture of leather, ox blood, and animal prints is the perfect way to say, “I’m ready to accept you, Fall.” Please take note of a few leaves that have already fallen.

I acquired this skirt from Forever 21 last year and didn’t bring it out until this year, you could call me a trend setter of sorts where the pieces just sit in my closet…

This outfit is fun, flirty, and mature. Doesn’t it make me look like I’m 26?

The Sweater That I’m Never Taking Off

Remember that blankie your Mom tried to secretly take away from you to wash but you just weren’t having it and threw a temper tantrum and it ended up smelling forever and then kids at camp made fun of you? Well this is my blankie of the 2013 Fall season.

Purchased a week ago from Banana Republic, it’s part of the Milly Collection for Banana Republic and it’s basically on sale for free! It’s the perfect sweater for work, lounging, working out, going out, and sleeping… All which I have done while wearing it!

My clutch and jeans are extremely vintage. These ripped babies are from Hollister back in high school. I thank my genes sometimes because I can still fit into clothes from even 10 years ago. I stole the clutch from my Mom’s closet, she’s probably still looking for it (Hi Mommy!).
